Composite Bonding
Composite Bonding in Istanbul
Composite bonding (also called dental bonding or edge bonding) uses layers of tooth-coloured composite resin, sculpted by hand and hardened with light, to repair, reshape and perfect your teeth. It is the least invasive way to meaningfully change your smile — and for most patients, it needs no drilling and no anaesthetic at all. At BondIST, it is performed exclusively by a dentist who holds a PhD in restorative dentistry — the very field this treatment belongs to.
What can bonding fix?
- Chipped or worn edges
- Gaps between teeth (diastema)
- Uneven or short teeth
- Minor misalignment and rotation
- Discoloured patches and white spots
- Old fillings that no longer match
Why patients choose bonding
Enamel stays intact
The resin bonds to the surface of your tooth. Nothing healthy is cut away — which is why bonding is reversible and crowns are not.
One visit
A full smile of bonding takes 2–4 hours. You arrive in the morning and leave with your new smile the same day.
Natural results
Composite is layered and characterised by hand to match the translucency and texture of real enamel. The goal: teeth that look like yours, only better.
Repairable for life
If a corner chips years from now, it can be repaired in minutes — no lab, no replacement, no drama.
The honest part
Composite bonding typically lasts 3–7 years before it needs refreshing, depending on your bite and habits. It can pick up stains from heavy tea, coffee or smoking, and it is not stronger than your natural teeth — biting nails or opening packets will chip it. If you grind your teeth at night, we will recommend a night guard. We would rather tell you all of this now than have you find out later.
